Demonian greetings [10 Jan 2007|08:28pm]

Aye there, mates. And hello, Ben. I've seen a lot of interesting people circulating around the livejournal world and figured it was about time to check it out myself.

So, being a fan of the almighty Liger and all the other massive cat-creatures out there, I humbly step up to the batter's box.

Now, on a related topic.. holy hell! That white text up at the top there is terribly hard to read unless you highlight it. Is that your doing, Ben? XD My eyes, they burn..

Sullying your nice, friendly livejournal community with my vile vampiric presence,

Just a reminder... [11 Dec 2005|09:36am]

There is only 158.5 (& some change) hours left in the HellCat commission contest.

Some revisions to the rules:
Due to the current amount of entries at the moment, anyone who does enter will get $15 at least for entering.

All entries will also need to have a watermark of some kind on the body of work, not off to the side. This mainly for the participating artist's protection.

I hope it is okay to post here, especially since it deals with felines... [06 Nov 2005|08:49am]

Since I like nbowa's and ozkanagroo's idea, I have decided to host my own furry commission contest.
This is mainly an experiment that might lead to a much larger contest, and a quick way for some to raise a little bit of money for Christmas, which is just around the corner.

Rules and theme guidelines...Collapse )

Ligers make it into National Geographic!
Perhaps not the print version, but ligers have now been featured on the NG web site, at least...

New ligerish online shop! [30 Mar 2004|05:47pm]

I've introduced my online shop once again, now with a different service, called Zazzle.
If you'd like to see what I've currently got available, check out this link here.
The first designs that I've got online are furry.ca related, but I intend on moving some of the other shirt designs that I've got into this service. I figure it's worth a shot to give these guys a try. It can't hurt. ;)
Check this shop out often! Buy often! ;D

TLKoB in T.O.! [31 Aug 2003|07:51pm]

[ mood | happy ]

In the aftermath of having seen the play, this is my report on the event...

Date: August 23rd, 2003
Time: 8 PM
Seat: Orchestra section, row BB, seat 16.

I finally got to see the Broadway version of The Lion King in Toronto. Vicky and I saw the 8 PM showing of it on Saturday, August 23rd, 2003... in Toronto, of course. :X)
I bought one of the programmes for $7. They were wonderfully done. Heavy paper, full colour and all. Certainly worth the money. It was produced based on the New York show, but oh well. Doesn't make much difference to me. ;X)
The seats we had were in row BB of the Orchestra, just to the right of aisle 2 if you're facing toward the stage. The way the seats were laid out there, we may as well have been in the front row, seeing as there were no seats in front of us and the staircase up to the stage was right there.
It was really cool to be that close to the show, even if it was difficult to take it all in. Still, I think it'd be difficult to take in every detail even if you're in the back, and it's great to have such a clear view of the actors' facial expressions and to clearly hear every word said. The whole production was very visually appealling and I felt very drawn into the scene in much the same way as I do when I'm watching the animated movie of TLK. The way they did a lot of the scenes in the movie was very inventive and gave me a good chuckle of approval. The visuals were absolutely stunning.
Vicky and I felt that a bit of the acting fell flat, but that's the reality of being at a live show and all. They can't all be perfect. Scar was well acted, as was adult Simba, young Nala, adult Nala, and other roles. The actor for young Simba wasn't very good in expressing his voice as well as he really should. It was a bit irritating. Mufasa was good, but perhaps a bit out of it as he didn't seem to be acting as much as he really should have been, either. The costumes were all great, of course.
I must say I love the music and was grooving to it throughout the whole play. I wasn't dancing in my seat, of course.... except for bobbing my head a bit to the beat. 8X)
It was certainly a memorable experience and am glad I finally got to see this play in action. :XD

Killman Zoo photos! [16 Apr 2003|02:22am]

Just to help give this community a bit of action, here's some photos that I took last week at the Killman Zoo, which is about a half hour away from my home. By car, of course. The first section on this page has the new set of photos in it, of course.
Here's the link...

Enjoy! :XD
